North Folk is an up and coming cidery located in the wilds of Alberta, Canada. Together, with our client Sunny Barrett, we created a brand inspired by Canadian folk tales that her customers would love to get lost in.
Brand Identity & Logo Design
Our goal throughout this brand was striking the right balance between vintage fantasy, retro nostalgia, and modern flair.
With a diverse product line ranging from ciders to mixers to apparel, It was important for North Folk to have a few adaptable marks. This system really hits the mark in terms of adaptability with a line of marks encapsulating the brand's rugged charm. Also- check out the inclusion of the axe, an allusion to the brand's mascot- the lumberjack.
Each can pays home to its own creature, inspiring "myth hunters" to collect and try them all.
Collateral & Social media
Join "The Myth Hunter's Guild" with a line of merchandise created for wanderers.
At the heart of the brand is a rich narrative of the "Myth Hunters Guild": a group who gathers at taverns and lodges across the Canadian wilderness to boast their latest sightings of Sasquatch or lake monsters. The full line of merch we designed keeps guests in the North Folk State of mind from their first sip to future firepit memories. Of course, once you find that sasquatch footprint or equally as exciting- take the first crisp sip of your cider fireside, you're going to want to share it on socials! We designed a full range of social media templates for the NF team to spread the word and connect with their community.
We continue to create packaging and collateral for all of Northfolk's offerings, and are excited to follow along with the NF team as they unravel the mysteries of the Canadian wild!
