Good Bones’ mission was to design a brand that captures the spirit of Springshot’s core values and empower their clients’ employees with uplifting design.
Through an extensive discovery phase, we identified Springshot’s new logo needed to associate closer to the company and communicate their core offering: giving employers the tools to manage and empower their crews from a distance. We called this sentiment, the “Springshot Orbit”. To emphasize this vital trait of Springshot’s platform we opted to show a gravitational slingshot orbit around a planet that forms an S. This represents speed, proximity, and support. It’s simplicity allows for quick association to Springshot from billboards to mobile apps.
Brand Identity & Values
Springshot’s platform helps companies like airlines and hotels connect their employees with centralized messaging and mission-driven reward systems.
One of their most important values is that every employee, no matter how entry-level the job, is vital for a mission’s success. That’s why throughout the brand and website, we depicted employees as astronauts to show their importance, their skill, and the vital role they play out in the field.
web design , illustration, and copywriting
It was important to communicate Springshot’s core values of lifting up employees and augmenting teams.
In the new brand’s copy, UI, and illustrations, we wanted to draw the comparison to space agencies and draw similarities to Springshot’s mobile and web applications to ground mission control. Across the new website design, we depicted the employees in flight with quirky animations to make their web presence feel light, personable, and technical.
Product design
In addition to their website and marketing materials, Good Bones integrated Springshot's new brand into their main product, their mobile application including message prompts and avatar design.
"Caleb & Gus led us to a brand that is meaningful, polished, and professional! They were able to read between the lines of our banter and knew exactly how to communicate our mission."
